Mickey Mehal has over twenty years professional experience as a Career Management
Consultant, Trainer and Psychotherapist. Her expertise includes working with organizations, groups, families and individuals
in transition. She is especially gifted at working with individuals seeking solutions to career and life challenges.
Since
1976, she has presented hundreds of seminars and professional training programs with a wide-range of clients from senior level
managers to front line workers in both the public and private sectors. She is highly regarded as an excellent coach, mentor
and educator.
As an entrepreneur, she has been in sales, has set up private practice as a consultant, psychotherapist,
seminar leader and speaker in addition to teaching social service courses at the community college. Mickey obtained her doctorate
in 1989 in Adult Education. In her dissertation, she examined humour in terms of gender with implications for wellness, learning
and productivity. She has been presenting Humour in the Workplace Seminars for over ten years and is considered one of the
Canadian experts in the interdisciplinary field of Humour Studies.
